"The United States Government is deeply saddened by the fall and occupation of its ally, the State of Israel, by the Palestinian State and the Arab States. Now, following the notice of capitulation of the government of Israel, we immediately demand that the Arab countries which invaded Israel retreat, and return to their countries. They no longer have any business in the territory of the former Land of Israel. The only country with any sovereignty at the moment is the State of Palestine. Until the execution of the surrender arrangements and the establishment of a new Israeli government, to act under the auspices of the State of Palestine, the United States undertakes to place its services at the disposal of the Jewish population in Israel, and particularly, to protect it against the acts of looting, rape and murder which are continually occurring in the Land of Israel, even as I speak. We cannot allow these war crimes to continue for even one more minute. Our ally in the Middle East, the only democracy in the region, has collapsed, but we are committed to protecting the citizens of former Israel until the creation of the governmental authority to be responsible for them. We call on the State of Palestine not to harm the citizens of Israel in any way. We call on the Arab countries to unconditionally and immediately evacuate the territory of the State of Israel. We have become aware that a large part of the horrendous acts against the conquered Israeli population was actually committed by the invading Arab armies, however even the soldiers of the State of Palestine and the Arab citizens of Israel are participating in the acts of looting, rape and murder. I am issuing a 48-hour ultimatum to the Arab countries to retreat with their forces from the sovereign territory of the former State of Israel. Should the Arab armies fail to retreat during this time period, we shall take severe penal action against these countries, together with stringent economic sanctions. We assume that following the restoration of the Golan Heights to Syrian hands, the Arab states no longer have any claim to any part of Israeli land, except to visit as tourists. The demise of the State of Israel as we knew it revokes any reason, any threat, any justification for Arab countries to maintain their armies on the soil of the Land of Israel. Tomorrow morning we shall send a force of approximately ten thousand Marines to police the Tel-Aviv and Dan Region area. As this area is densely populated, it was naturally selected to be the area to which, and in which, the refugees of the State of Israel flock to, until a political solution is found for them. Tonight I spoke with the President of the State of Palestine, Mr. Marwan Barghouti, on these matters and he assured me that he will do everything in his power to end the severe violence against the citizens of Israel. Mr. Barghouti agreed with me that action should be taken to have the Arab armies immediately return to their countries, and that the State of Palestine will take responsibility for managing the affairs of the State of Israel from now on. It was further agreed that the American forces in the Land of Israel will enjoy full cooperation on the part of the Palestinian forces. However, and this is a non-negotiable condition of the Palestinian government, the United States soldiers who will come to the region must undergo a selection process, so that no Jewish or former Israeli soldier be included in the force. I have promised the President of the State of Palestine that there shall be no cooperation between the United States soldiers and the defeated Jewish population, except for humanitarian aid. I appreciate that the Jewish population in the United States will be angry at me, but this was an unconditional prerequisite of the Palestinian President Marwan Barghouti. The cooperation shall be only humanitarian, and at this time, when the citizens of Israel are still in danger, this hard decision was mine to make. I have ordered the commander of the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea to have another 300 troops land on the beaches of Tel-Aviv by tomorrow morning. Additional reinforcements shall arrive in the next few days. The selection process shall take place over the next two days and all of the Jewish United States soldiers currently present in the defeated Land of Israel shall be tracked down. These troops shall be returned to the United States, and other soldiers shall be sent to replace them. A final word. I knew Avraham Durk and some of the members of his government. Avraham Durk was a great person, a moral person of principles, and we were true friends. I have learned tonight that most of the government of Israel committed suicide and thereafter, in a great series of explosions in the Kirya, was in fact buried under the rubble of the large buildings.
